He was an artist, theoretician, art critic and founderof the Museum of Contemporary Art in Belgrade. He graduated from the Faculty ofLaw in Belgrade and studied painting at the School of Painting run by MladenJosić, under Jovan Bijelić and Zora Petrović. He received further education inParis, Italy and the USA. The painting StillLife with a Yellow Bird is amonumental canvas with a wide, developed space that includes the rhythm ofsmall, everyday immediate geometric shapes. The work is part of the collectionof the Kraljevo National Museum.
