He is one of the most prominentpainters of Serbian Realism. He graduated from theArt Academy in Vienna in 1880, where he remained towork as an assistant until 1885, when he returned home. He painted scenes fromeveryday life, historical compositions, portraits, and also icons. The painting Vision in the Clouds was created in 1887after the occupation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.Predić responded to the war in his ownway, creating a painting that presents his critical view of life andrelationships between people through an allegory.The painting is held inthe Zrenjanin National Museum.
