The tonearm features a removable headshell, adjustable anti-skate and tracking weight, making it easy to upgrade the cartridge. Not that you’ll be in a hurry to upgrade as the standard Audio Technica AT91R cartridge suits the deck well and gives a precise and lively sound.

Easy to use – fully automatic

With its fully automatic playback, the Audio Technica AT-LP2X is a joy to use. Fully automatic playback means that it not only stops the turntable at the end of the record but also sets it to play and returns the arm at the end of the record. Simply select the disc size – 12” or 7” – and you’re good to go.

Built-in phono pre-amp for wider connection

With a phono pre-amp built-in, the AT-LP2X connects to almost any hi-fi or compatible smart speaker system. The phono pre-amp boosts the signal to line level, meaning you can connect it to any device with an RCA phono AUX input. If you’d rather use your amp’s phono pre-amp, then simply switch off the one in the turntable.
